1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of mubboo.au and the Mubboo AI assistant service (“Service”), operated by Mubboo Pty Ltd (ABN 18 695 095 731).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

• Mubboo is an AI-powered life assistant for Australian consumers
• The Service provides information, product recommendations, price comparisons, and links to third-party products and services
• The Service is available via web browser with both voice and text interaction
• We connect to hundreds of Australian retail platforms and public data sources to provide real-time information

3. User Accounts

• Guest users may access limited features without registration
• Registration is required to access full features including conversation history, saved items, and higher usage limits
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You must provide accurate, current information during registration
• One account per individual; sharing of account credentials is not permitted
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to manipulate, abuse, or exploit the AI system
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other automated means to access the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service's infrastructure
• Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Service without our written permission
• Use the Service to generate spam, phishing, or other malicious content

6. Affiliate Relationships and Third-Party Links

• Mubboo earns commissions from affiliate links to third-party retailers and service providers (see Affiliate Disclosure)
• When you click an affiliate link, you leave mubboo.au and enter a third-party website
• We are not responsible for the products, services, content, or privacy practices of third-party websites
• Affiliate relationships do not influence our AI's recommendations; however, the availability of affiliate links may determine which products are displayed
• Prices, availability, and product details shown on Mubboo are sourced from third-party platforms and may not be current at the time of purchase — always verify on the retailer's website
• Presence of affiliate links is disclosed in accordance with ACCC Australian Consumer Law guidelines

7. Intellectual Property

• “Mubboo” is a registered trademark of Mubboo Pty Ltd at IP Australia (Classes 9 and 35)
• All content, design, code, logos, and other materials on mubboo.au are owned by or licensed to Mubboo Pty Ltd
• You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission
• The AI-generated responses you receive are for your personal, non-commercial use

8. Subscription Terms

• Mubboo offers free access (Guest and Free Member tiers) and a paid subscription (“Mubboo Plus”)
• Current Mubboo Plus pricing: Monthly AU$7.99/month | Annual AU$49.90/year (save ~48%)
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
• We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to existing subscribers
• Features and usage limits for each tier are described on our Plans page

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mubboo Pty Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

We are not liable for any losses resulting from:

• AI-generated recommendations or information
• Third-party products or services accessed via affiliate links
• Interruptions or errors in the Service
• Unauthorised access to your account

Our maximum aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010). If the Service does not meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to the remedies set out in that law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mubboo Pty Ltd, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to registered users by email and posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
